To literate all the population within the municipal area within the next 5 years.
To jointly operate by incorporating Diploma Level Colleges for technical and vocational educational in all wards based on CTEVT – affiliated engineering, nursing, and lab technology subjects with priority given to local students from the municipality.
To emphasize on science laboratory, computer classes, libraries and sports materials for improving the educational status of community and institutional schools.
To make community and institutional schools technological, child-friendly, and disabled-friendly.
To emphasize on eradicating illiteracy by facilitating non-formal education opportunities.
To provide undergraduate scholarships to at most three permanent resident students who have achieved excellent results in twelfth (12th) grade from community and institutional schools within the Tarakeshwor municipality area and to make it mandatory to work for at least five years in an agency appointed by the Tarakeshwor municipality after their studies.
To take necessary initiatives to promote the rights and interests of teachers working in community and institutional schools and to provide service facilities.
To monitor the educational activities and management of schools that run at the private level and to insist on making necessary improvements.
To construct and operate at least one municipal-level stadium for sports development.
To provide necessary encouragement to sportsmen to develop municipal-level sports.
To upgrade at the provincial level and to operate the proposed ‘Sudarshan Acharya Memorial Stadium’ in Goldhunga within a year in order to develop municipal-level sports.
To construct and operate the sports ground at Pipal Danda in Ward No. 8 Manamaiju of the municipality as a municipal-level stadium.
